GREAT CANADIAN ZOOS

This is one of my favorite places to visit with the kids. I love going to the zoo.

We are planning to visit a number of Canadian Zoos this summer. Here are all the Zoos we have found in Canada:

* African Lion Safari - Ontario safari park that aims to display and propagate animals in a safe, entertaining, and educational environment.
* Bowmanville Zoo - Canada's oldest zoological park and home to several animal movie stars.
* Calgary Zoo, Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park - Located just minutes from downtown Calgary, accessible by road and transit. Open 365 days of the year.
* Granby Zoo - Devoted to the protection and reproduction of animal species, within a scientific framework and an environment respectful of the species' needs.
* Jungle Cat World - Zoo featuring lions and Siberian tigers.
* Metro Toronto Zoo - Over 5,000 animals displayed in a zoological park complete with ponds, waterfalls, and floral displays. Site provides information about their conservation efforts, camps and programs, special events, adn job opportunities.
* Papanack Park Zoo - Family operated facility open to the public; home of white lion cubs.
* Saskatoon Zoo - Dedicated to the education and promotion of animal life. Features interactive map, programs at the zoo, and more.
